Longtime resident of Miami Mr. H. Kelley Crownover passed away Sunday January 3, 2010 at the age of 84 years in Joplin, Missouri.
Kelley was born June 6, 1925 in Calumet, Oklahoma to his parents Herald and Nellie McGraw Crownover.
Kelly worked for BF Goodrich for over 39 years until his retirement.
On November 18, 1945 he took Miss Dolores Nigh as his bride in the Bluejacket-Ottawa County area.
They both resided in Bluejacket until their move to Miami in 1955.
Kelley and Dolores have been longtime members of Community of Christ Church.
Kelley had many hobbies during his lifetime. He enjoyed go-cart racing, CB radios and traveling.
He and Dolores were members of the Christian Motorcycle Association. Many miles and wonderful memories will be cherished during this time.
Mrs. Dolores Crownover passed from this life on October 1, 2011 at the age of 81 years. Dolores was born November 18, 1929 in Timber Hill, Oklahoma to her parents Charlie and Orpha Nigh. Dolores married H. Kelly Crownover on November 18, 1945 in Ottawa County. She has lived in Miami and the Blue Jacket area most all of her life. Dolores was a Cub Scout and Brownie leader for many years. She also served her church in the Sunday School department as teacher as well. Dolores loved to sew, garden and collect antiques. Many miles were put on her and H. Kelley's motorcycles traveling with the Christian Motor Cycle Club.
