Minco Minstrel
John Charles Henderson was born in Atchison County Missouri on August 12 1861, and departed this life on April 25, 1936 at the age of 74 years, eight months and thirteen days.
He was united in marriage to Jenny Fletcher. To this union one daughter was born, Edith, both having preceded him in death. In 1905 he moved west of Minco, Oklahoma and made his home there until his death.
In 1906 he was united in marriage to Miss Olive Eavins (?Edens). To this union ten children were born: William, who preceded him in death, April 5,1918. He leaves to mourn his passing, his wife and nine children. Walter, George, Elsie Vernard, Zonna Belle and J.C. Henderson, Mrs Lela McGowan of EL Reno, Mrs. Silva Myers of Minco, Mrs. Nala Shastid of Binger; a nephew Frank Henderson of Minco, a neice, Mrs. Mable Lips, of Watson, Missouri; two nieces and 2 nephews in Idaho. Two brothers preceded him in death.
The children were at his bedside when the end came. He was laid to rest in the Centerview Cemetery. Services were in the Centerview Cemetery. Services were in charge of Rev. J.W. Barker---A Friend

she moved to Oklahoma from Missouri in 1901.She married J.C. Henderson in 1906 whom proceeded her in death in 1936.Mother of 5 sons: William John Henderson and J.C. Henderson both of which proceeded her in death, Walter Henderson, George Henderson, and Frank Henderson and 5 daughters Lela Henderson McGowan, Syvia Henderson Meyers, Zonabelle Henderson Kulhman, Nelva Henderson Shastid and Elsie Henderson Beck.
