Funeral services for Virginia Thelma Trotter, 84 of Sallisaw were held at 2 pm Monday at Mallory Wheeler Fuenral Chapel in Sallisaw with Marion Douthit officiating. Burial was in Fleetwood Cemetery, under the direction of Mallory-Wheeler Funeral Home in Sallisaw. She was born April 26, 1914, in Sequoyah County, to Jim & Ollie Newberry Richardson. She died Sunday, January 24, 1999, in Sallisaw. Survivors include son & daughter-in-law, Geroge & Janice; brothers Carl, Shelby, Alvin, & Kenneth; 5 grandchildren; & 9 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Trotter, her parents, daughter, Juanita Bryan & sister, Agnes Boyd.
