Eunice Murl Hays, daughter of Frank and Frankie Hays, was born in Oregon Co, MO on 17 Feb 1904 and moved to Bristow, Creek Co, OK in the early 1920's.

Upon completion of the ninth grade, the State of Missouri issued Murl a teaching certificate and she returned home to Oregon Co, MO to teach in the lower grades.

Murl married her childhood sweetheart, James Everett Trimble, son of George W Trimble and Laura Newton Looney Trimble at Bristow, Creek Co, OK. Three children were born to this marriage.

Murl was the 3rd of four female cousins, all descendants of John Hays, who married four of the sons of George W Trimble.

Murl and Everett were divorced in 1939. She never remarried.

Murl, with only a ninth grade education, insisted on education for her children and all three graduated from major universities.

Her greatest love was for her church, the Bristow Church of God, and there she was active over fifty years. While active in the Ladies Missionary Society, she was also known for her great cooking ability and "Sister Trimble"s" pies were always in great demand at the church socials.

At her death in 1982, she was laid to rest in her brother's family grave plot amd also near that of her parents in the Bristow Cemetery, Bristow, Creek Co, OK.
