Funeral services for Anna (A-Gee) Kaulaity Domebo
92, of Carnegie were held 2:00 p.m. Monday, September 29, 2008, at Red Buffalo Hall at eh Kiowa Complex in Carnegie. Prayer services were held 7:00 p.m., Sunday, September 28, 2008 at Ray and Martha's Funeral Home Chapel in Carnegie. She was born December 19, 1915 on her mother's allotment south of Carnegie to Henry and Mary Leda (Togamote) Kaulaity and died Thursday, September 25, 2008 at Cyril. She was a member of the Kiowa Tribe of Oklahoma, Native American Church.
After her mother's death she attended Riverside School. She inherited anew family. She had worked for Grisswald Cleaners in Lawton, Carnegie Nutrition Center and eh Kiowa Tribe Nutrition Center, where she was always complimented on her breads and cooking. She love to do beadwork, sew quilts and work puzzles. She made a quilt for each of her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She loved to play bingo with her friends, Olga Haig who everyone called MaMa Olga.
She had a lot of friends, old and young. She always encouraged all family
and friends. She knew her Lord and He knew her. She was faithful in prayer, reading her word. She planted God's seed in each of her children.Anna was preceded in death by her parents: brothers, William, Robert, Lewis, Mannford and Thurman Kaulaity, one granddaughter, Donella Domebo and two great-grandsons, Derrick Ray Heilamar and Baby Gaje Jeffery Florence.
Survivors include seven children: Charles Dumebo of Carnegie, Vernon Domebo of Wichita, Kansas, Lillian Domebo of Stecker, Veronica Domebo Boyer of Chino, California, Harriett Domebo Batzloff of Dallas, Texas and Dorothy Domebo of Cyril; four brothers, Horace Kaulaity of Clinton, Donald Kaulaity of Anadarko, Norman Kaulity of Anadarko, and Tommy Kaulity of Anadarko, four sisters, Gloria Holder of Anadarko, Thelma Bowman of Anadarko, Luella Petterson of Carnegie and Violet Kauley of Carnegie. 22 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren and 13 great-great-grandchildren. Burial was in the Cedar Creek Cemetery under the direction of Ray and Martha's Funeral of Carnegie.
