Roy John Schrayer, 84, of Kansas, Oklahoma, died February 3, 2012, at Siloam Springs Memorial Hospital, Siloam Springs, Arkansas.
Born August 30, 1927, in Cimarron County, Oklahoma, he was the son of Phillip George Schrayer and Ella Mae Fitch Schrayer.

He was a World War II veteran. Roy was a rancher/farmer. He married Odell Bryan in Clayton, New Mexico, on August 30, 1948. He was a member of the Kansas American Legion and loved to square dance. Roy danced with the Arkhoma Whirl-a-ways.

He was preceded in death by his parents and ten siblings.

Survivors include his wife, Odell of the home; one daughter, Linda Mae DuBose and husband Bob Rainbolt, of Burlington, Kansas; two sons, Roger Dale Schrayer and wife Sally of Lewisville, Texas, and Chuck Wayne Schrayer and wife Mary of Trinity, Florida; five grandchildren, Ashley Barraza, Chad Schrayer, Bret Schrayer, Aaron Schrayer, and Kelly Schrayer; one great grandchild, Andrew Schrayer.
