Carnegie — Funeral for
VERNON PAUL SATEPAUHOODLE SR., 67, Carnegie, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Cedar Creek, Methodist Church, Carnegie, with the Rev. Milton Otis, the Rev. Victor Rivera and the Rev. Edwin Rivera officiating. A wake service will be at 7 p.m. today at Pitcher-Hackney Funeral Chapel, Carnegie. Mr. Satepauhoodle Sr. died Saturday, Dec. 6, 2003, in Carnegie. Burial will be at Satepauhoodle Family Cemetery,
Carnegie.
He was born May 10, 1936, in Lawton to Adrian Richard and Rose Hoaun Satepauhoodle. He was a mechanic, and a member of the Kiowa Tribe.
Survivors include two sons: Adrian Satepauhoodle and Vernon Satepauhoodle Jr., four daughters: Donna Starnes, Barbara Sue Satepauhoodle, Lois Salazar and Carol Wiest; 34 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; two brothers: Adrian Richard Satepauhoodle and Kenneth Ray Satepauhoodle; three sisters: Agnes Hiney, Tessie Starr, and Gladys Satepauhoodle; other relatives; and many friends.
