KANSAS, Okla. — James Leon "Nick" Nichols, 46, of Kansas died March 1, 2004, at Tahlequah (Okla.) City Hospital. He was born Aug. 14, 1957, in Siloam Springs to James Lewis and Eva McCombs Nichols. He was a lifetime resident of northeast Oklalhoma. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed playirg cards. He attended the Church of God in Colcord.
Survivors include his wife, Connie of the home; one son, Chris Couch of the home; four brothers, Marvin Linn of Bentonville, Walter Linn, Jerry Linn and Bill Linn, all of Colcord; six sisters, Velma Wood of Tulsa, Okla., Gladys Denny of Jay, Okla., Bessie Cornelison, Lavon Teel, Kay Wooten, Evelyn Gibby, all of Colcord.
Services will be at 10:00 a.m. Thursday at Draper Community Center in Colcord with Edward Billups officiating.
Burial will follow in Row Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Wasson Funeral Home in Siloam Springs.
