Edward Roche, who was born in Ireland, served as lieutenant and paymaster of Col. David Hall's regiment. He was taken prisoner at Camden and when exchanged served to the close of the war. He was a member of the Cincinnati and died at Wilmington in 1821, aged sixty-seven. The National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution Volume 10 page 206
