L. A. Walker, for many years, a highly respected citizen of Wagoner, and a brother of County commission Oscar Walker, died at his home in the northeast part of town, Monday night, February 20, 1911, at 10 o'clock of consumption from which he had been a long sufferer. The funeral was held Tuesday afternoon at the Cumberland Presbyterian Church of which he was a consistent member. Rev. J. S. Hall of Muskogee conducted the services and interment was made in the city cemetery. Mr. Walker leaves a Wife, Belle, three daughters and a son to mourn the untimely death of the loved husband and father. Obituary provided by Charlotte Stevens Schneider
