The son of the great Comanche Chief Tabananika, was among the outstanding Comanche Church leaders. In the book The Jesus Road: The Ministry of the Reformed Church in America he is described as "at least six feet tall and very good looking for an Indian." In his own words he had been a heavy drinker and enemy of Christianity, but after observing believers like Nahwatz he made his decision. He wrote songs in Comanche that are still used by the Comanche Reformed Church..
