1860? - April 13,1898
He was probably born in Texas and supposedly in 1860, although some claim 1865. He was 5 feet, one inch tall which earned him the "Little Dick" nickname. While working in Oklahoma as a ranch hand he met Bill Doolin in 1892. He joined the Doolin Gang and was wounded in a bank robbery in Southwest City, Missouri. He remained with the gang through 1896 when Doolin was killed by "Heck" Thomas. He then helped form the Jennings Gang, a bunch of bunglers who tried a few train robberies that failed miserably. US Marshall Chris Madsen finally caught up with Little Dick and killed him in a shootout in Guthrie.
