Roger Drew White, age 44 of Burrton, Kansas.
died Sunday, January 18, 1987, at Halstead Hospital in Halstead, Kansas. Funeral services will be help Friday, January 23, 1987, 3 p.m. at the Benjamin Funeral Chapel with Ben Killion Officiating. Interment will be at Nowata Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of the Benjamin Funeral Service.
He was born at Nowata on October 17, 1942 to Guy White and Vivian (Short) White. Roger married Ellen Elizabeth "Shortie" Martin. He moved from Nowata to Burrton, Kansas, in December of 1980. He was a member of the Nowata First Presbyterian Church.He served in the US Navy. He was a member of the Nowata VFW and Nowata American Legion.
Survivors include: His wife, Mrs Ellen Elizabeth "Shortie" White of the home: two sons, Kevin White of Burrton, Kansas, Troy White of Burrton, Kansas; two daughters, Tonya White of Burrton, Kansas, Starla Ditmore of Owasso, one step daughter, Janet McGorder of Burrton, Kansas; one sister, Donna Fails of Pasadena, California, and two grandchildren, Terren Sharay White of Burrton, Kansas and Lacy Jo Ditmore of Owasso.
