Kerns Cemetery
Washita County,

Also known as the Fairview Cemetery and Kerns Family Cemetery. There were three marked graves in the cemetery and one plot with no stones but surrounded by a metal fence. One other person is listed as being in the cemetery, Katie Viola Mead. She may be in the fenced area. This cemetery has been abandoned for many years.

On I-40 west, take exit 53 (Burns Flat) and go south. Turn left on the Southside service road (before truck stop) and go 1 mile. Turn right on gravel and red rock road for 1 ½ miles( winding road). Turn right and go ½ mile. The cemetery is on the left side of road in pasture—and is fenced.
