Harold Hubert Bateman
September 30, 1887 - July 4, 1919
Born in Redlands, California. Died at Ft Sill Oklahoma, trying to save a drowning man. His father was C C Bateman, an Army Chaplain. He was posted to the 9th Field Artillery. Member of Pershing's Punative Expedition to Mexico against Pancho Villa. Leaves a daughter, Suzanne, and wife Winnifred Palmer Bateman, in Madison Wisconsin.
