Charles Emmett Beaty age 86, passed from this life on August 2, 2012 at his home with his family by his side. Mr. Beaty was born on August 20, 1925 in Jay, Oklahoma to John Leonard Beaty and Nellie Florence Dick. He married Wanda Maxine Peek on July 27, 1949. To This union was born 4 Children: Karen Kruse of Jay, OK, Darryll Beaty of Oregon, Darlene Kessler of Portland, Oregon, and Charles Rick Beaty of Jay, OK. Charles worked in Construction in California & Oregon until he retired. Then they moved back to Oklahoma, where he farmed and raised cattle. Charles loved to fish, hunt, trade knives, loved raising cattle, but most of all he loved kids. Charles was a loving husband, father and grandfather to all. Charles leaves behind his wife of 63 years, Wanda of the home in Jay. One son: Rick Beaty of the home. Two daughters: Karen of Jay and Darlene of Portland, Oregon, Eight grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Preceding Charles in death is one Son: Darryll, one sister: Edna Davis, two brothers: Gene and Don, both his parents, and 1 granddaughter: Melissa.
Services are under the direction of Grand Lake Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Jay.
