Josephine was the daughter of David Welch of NC & Rebbeca Vannoy. Josephine married five times in her life. She had numerous children, step children & adopted children. Her first husband was James Franklin James. She then married John Clark in 1872. By 1880 she was married to L.J. Cannon. By the 1890 census Josephine was married to Daniel Monroe Moore. In 1896 she is married to J.M. Shaw. Josephine passed in 1901 & is burried in Lot 345.
