Member of the Dalton gang. In the famous shootout at Coffeyville, Kansas when the gang tried to rob two banks at the same time, Emmett suffered 23 gunshot wounds and still survived. He was sentenced to life in prison and pardoned after 14 years. He then led a straight life and married his childhood sweetheart, Julia Johnson.
